On the tiny Indonesian island of Lombok, nestled between famous Bali and giant Sumbawa island, you will find Fair Pearls, a family-run business that for years is trying to bring a feel of artistry and grandness to each handmade piece of pearl jewelry.

All pearl bracelets, brooches, necklaces, rings, and earnings, etc we are creating in-house by the hands of Indonesian craftsmen and every piece of jewelry is handmade, and every single pearl is chosen individually. But it was not always so. Our store was not established immediately.

Our History

Till the end of the nineties, all members of my family were purely local wholesalers of natural south sea pearls, pearl rings, pendants, bracelets, earrings, etc. But in 2006, we decided to take a step further. We started making pearl jewelry by ourselves and bought a share in a pearl farming business.

Ten years later Fair Pearls went international and while our business is still going well, we are remembering till now who we really are. All chiefs and regular workers of our company are still thinking about Fair Pearls as about family business. Together we eat, laugh, celebrate important family or national holidays.

The creative magic of jewelry smiting starts with individually-chosen pearls, farmed in less than 50 kilometers from our main craftsman facility.

Lombok island is well known especially for its “golden” south sea pearls taken from Gold-Lipped oyster. But their white “brothers” of the same species are no less famous. There are literally dozens of south sea pearl farms located everywhere around the island and each of them could produce south sea pearls of many different shapes, colors, and weights.

Also, please know, that our handy connections in the pearl industry allow us to sell other types of pearls and for the nice prices too. I am speaking about snow-white and perfectly shaped akoya pearls from Japan, dark-colored pearls from Tahiti, and freshwater pearls from China.
